In the first 5 months of the year, Zhengzhou's China Railway Express has operated 1,426 trips, marking a 20.2% year-on-year increase, according to Zhengzhou Customs on June 26.

The range of return cargo has become more diversified, featuring European dairy products, specialty agricultural goods from Central Asia, and cassava starch from ASEAN. More than 10,000 types of commodities across 53 categories are now included. In the first five months of this year, Zhengzhou's China Railway Express handled 139,000 TEUs, up 15.6% year-on-year, according to Zhengzhou Railway Customs.
Zhengzhou's China Railway Express has grown rapidly, increasing its frequency from 1 trip per month to 10 trips per day. Originally serving a single European route, it has expanded into a comprehensive logistics network that includes Central Asia and ASEAN. This year, three new overseas direct stations - Duisburg (Germany), Hairatan (Afghanistan), and Ajala (Turkmenistan) - have been added, along with the Turugart port of entry and exit. Currently, the logistics framework boasts 29 overseas direct stations and 10 border crossings.
