At this standardized full-industry-chain breeding base, batches of live goose chicks are hatched successively. After receiving meticulous de-warming care in dedicated temperature-controlled nurseries and overcoming their vulnerable period, the chicks are supplied in batches to cooperative farmers in Qingfeng county and surrounding areas.
According to Chao, the facility now covers over 230 mu (approximately 15.33 hectares), employs more than 30 villagers each of whom earns an average monthly income of over 4,000 yuan ($590), and supports over 50 local households in raising more than 10,000 meat geese, generating an average annual income of over 20,000 yuan per household.
"The constant temperature of 37.8°C serves as the core standard for automated egg incubation in white geese and represents the first critical barrier ensuring healthy hatching and robust growth of goslings. Continuous and stable power supply directly determines the hatchability rate and breeding efficiency of tens of thousands of brood eggs per batch at the facility," said Chao.
From incubation to chick rearing, equipment such as temperature-controlled ventilation systems and automated water and feed dispensers operates continuously 24 hours a day, with power supply guaranteed through every stage. Focusing on local demands in livestock farming and specialty crop cultivation, the company conducts regular specialized inspections of power infrastructure at breeding bases to precisely identify and mitigate potential risks like aging power lines and equipment overload.
