From April 25 to April 29, 2026, the Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok led a youth delegation on a visit to Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, Central China's Henan province. The eight outstanding young participants came from the Government of Primorsky Krai, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Far Eastern Federal University, and Vladivostok State University.
During the visit, the delegation held talks with the leadership of the provincial foreign affairs office on local history, culture, economy, and China-Russia cooperation. They also engaged in discussions with professors and students at Zhengzhou University, paid a field visit to Henan Konggang Iflytek Information Technology Co., Ltd., and toured Henan Museum, Shaolin Temple, Yue Fei Temple, and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. In addition, they attended the live-action performance "The Great Song Dynasty·Reminiscences of the Eastern Capital".
The delegation experienced the vitality of Chinese modernization and explored the rich cultural heritage of the Central Plains during their stay. The participants were also impressed by the urban greenery, the convenience of daily life, and the warmth and hospitality of the local people.
