The 43rd China Luoyang Peony Cultural Festival opened on April 1 and runs throughout the month, showcasing the ancient cultural heritage of Luoyang, Henan province.
This year's festival features nine activities and 12 supporting programs, integrating cultural performances, tourism experiences, and business promotion.
Organizers said the festival aims to create an immersive experience centered on Luoyang's peony culture, Tang Dynasty (618-907) heritage, and traditional hanfu.
Visitors can enjoy daytime peony viewing and nighttime cultural activities, with a focus on all-day consumption experiences, the local government said.
Officials stated that integrating peony viewing with cultural tourism supports the development of peony-themed creative products and helps foster broader economic growth.
