Henan Zhongyu International Port Group said on March 9 that a China-Russia freight train loaded with automobile KD parts departed that day from the China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) assembly center. The train will leave China via the Horgos Port for Moscow.

The freight train with a total load of 1,125 tons is a milestone shipment for Zhengzhou International Land Port. It is the first China-Russia express train since the launch of regular ASEAN services, and the first departure since the new customs site at the China-Europe freight train assembly center put into use. The dual "firsts" signify a key advance in the port's drive to expand its global logistics network and strengthen its role as a transport hub.
