According to Wang Xu, head of the Bureau of Statistics of Henan, in 2025, Henan's economy demonstrated a strong growth momentum featuring steady progress, enhanced resilience, and a continuously improving structure.
In 2025, Henan's provincial GDP hit 6.66 trillion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 5.6 percent calculated at constant prices. The province's economic output by sector was as follows: the primary industry increased by 3.6 percent to 553.8 billion yuan; the secondary industry grew 5.5 percent to 2.49 trillion yuan; and the tertiary industry expanded 6.0 percent to 3.62 trillion yuan.
