According to Zhengzhou Customs, in the first 11 months of this year, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ) registered a total import and export value of 420.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%, ranking second among all comprehensive bonded zones nationwide and surpassing the total import and export value of the entire previous year. Notably, its monthly import and export value surged to the top among national comprehensive bonded zones in November, demonstrating strong growth momentum and resilience.
In recent years, the Port Administration Bureau of ZAEZ has collaborated with multiple departments to make joint efforts. It has not only empowered refined operations within the comprehensive bonded zone in depth, but also extended its influence to the entire airport zone, fostering a new service pattern of driving overall improvement through key breakthroughs and holistic optimization, which has effectively boosted the vitality and competitiveness of regional foreign trade.
Cross-border e-commerce maintained robust growth, with 266 million transactions completed in the first 11 months, up 85.8% year-on-year; among this, export orders surged 122% year-on-year, emerging as a new engine for foreign trade growth.
Air cargo throughput at Zhengzhou Aviation Port exceeded 1 million tonnes annually, registering an average annual growth of around 10.0% and ushering its air hub construction into a new phase of development. To date, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport has attracted 36 all-cargo airlines, including 8 of the world's top 10 freight carriers. It operates 70 all-cargo routes, connecting 28 of the world's top 50 cargo airports and extending reach to 73 cities across 32 countries.
Currently, Zhengzhou International Inland Port has built dual international transport corridors via the China-Laos Railway and China-Europe Railway Express, with regular freight services running between Zhengzhou and Laos. Supported by the efficient 8-beam and 16-line operation lines, cargo can reach 40 European countries in 15 days via China-Europe freight trains, and the port has already hit the annual target of 800 train services ahead of schedule.
