Sanmenxia Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) has recently received approval from the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Finance, the State Taxation Administration and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, according to Sanmenxia Customs on December 9. It is the fifth bonded logistics center in Central China's Henan province.
The type-B bonded logistics center, a customs-supervised zone and a special logistics platform with port functions, can carry out nine core businesses, including bonded warehousing, international distribution, and transit trade. This not only meets local enterprises' needs for tax refunds and bonded procedures, but also significantly reduces logistics costs and customs clearance time. Sanmenxia leads Henan in copper ore concentrate imports, while its production of high-grade copper foil ranks among the nation's best. Leveraging these advantages, the Sanmenxia Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) is set to provide services to major sectors including non-ferrous metals, new materials, and specialty agricultural products, facilitating their global trade.
The newly approved bonded logistics centerin Sanmenxia, coupled with its role as Henan's first pilot- and the nation's second- for customs clearance reform targeting imported copper ore concentrate via rail transport, will amplify synergistic effects. This move solidifies the city's "Corridor + Platform + Industries" model for opening up, providing local enterprises with a seamless gateway to global logistics networks.
