Recently, the Port Administration Bureau of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone reported that, in the first three quarters of this year, its cross-border e-commerce export volume reached 180,000 tons, a surge of 106.2% year-on-year. This accounted for more than half of Henan's total foreign trade volume, underscoring the province's strategic advantages as a key hub for outward opening-up.

Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone has developed a global logistics network that operates 24 hours a day. The daily monitored cross-border e-commerce export volume now averages nearly 800 tons, with a single-day peak exceeding 1,000 tons—an increase of 15 times when compared to five years ago. The zone's expanding logistics network and growing capacity provide strong support for Henan's development as a global trade center.
"With high customs clearance efficiency and a dense flight network, we are more confident in expanding our international markets," said the head of a cross-border e-commerce company in Henan. By leveraging the comprehensive advantages of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, the company reported a 611% year-on-year increase in import and export value in the first three quarters of 2025.

The company's rapid export growth is driven by the continuous upgrade of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone's capabilities. Currently, 33 all-cargo airlines operate in Zhengzhou, with a freight network covering more than 30 countries and regions worldwide. As the first comprehensive bonded zone in Central China exceeding 10,000 flights this year, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone has handled over 470,000 tons of international and regional cargo and mail in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of more than 40%. The zone is leveraging the combined advantages of its "dual hub" and "dual cargo airlines" to attract global resources, contributing to its continued growth.
