The 2025 UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of Zhengzhou, Henan province, has drawn record-breaking participation, featuring 20 top pilots from 10 elite teams from across 14 countries and regions.

The UIM F1H2O World Championship, first launched in 1981, is widely regarded as the world's premier international racing series for powerboats.

As the only Chinese team in the series, China Tianrong F1H2O Team competed on home waters.

The event was held in the Zhengdong New District, known for its huge water surfaces and eco-friendly urban landscape. With 18 square kilometers of water area, the district provides ideal natural conditions for water sports.

The race venue is expected to be repurposed after the event into a public water sports center, according to the organizing committee.

This year marks the third time Zhengzhou has hosted the prestigious event.
