On September 10, the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced at the Shougang Park in Beijing. Henan Province organized both provincial and local economic trade delegations to participate in the event, with over 180 enterprises from Henan leveraging the CIFTIS platform to expand trade channels and enhance the influence of "Henan Services".
Zhang Min, Member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, attended the Global Trade in Services Summit. She visited the Henan exhibition area and conducted inspections and research in sections dedicated to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, as well as financial and environmental services. At the Henan exhibition area, Zhang Min engaged in in-depth exchanges with participating enterprises to learn about the province's trade in services, with a particular focus on cultural trade.
CIFTIS is the world's largest comprehensive exhibition in the field of trade in services and serves as a vital platform for China's opening-up. Under the annual theme "Embrace Intelligent Technologies, Empower Trade in Services", the 2025 CIFTIS featured the Global Trade in Services Summit, nine thematic forums—including the 2025 E-Commerce Conference and the Fourth World Frontiers of Science and Technology Conference—as well as thematic and specialized exhibitions. These events collectively showcased new trends, technologies, and achievements in global trade in services, highlighting applications of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and other innovations in the sector. Additionally, over 40 supporting activities were held, integrating service consumption, trade, and investment.
Henan Province focused on cultural themes, organizing an image exhibition under the theme "Embrace Characters Roots in Central Plains, Empower Henan's Global Reach". The exhibition featured three dedicated sections: a comprehensive showcase, an interactive experience zone, and a business networking area, fully highlighting Henan's accomplishments in cultural preservation and inheritance, industrial development, as well as foreign trade.
