On September 9, China Flying Dragonunder Zhongyu Aviation Group, took delivery of China'sfirst C909 medical aircraft, delivered by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) in Zhengzhou. On the same day, the C9 Wings of Life Aviation Medical Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the C9 Aviation Medical Alliance) was established in Zhengzhou.
The C909 medical aircraft has a maximum designed commercial payload of 10 tons and a standard range of up to 3,700 kilometers, with the capability of taking off and landing at high-plateau airports. Its cabin layout can be flexibly reconfigured according to different rescue needs, which can meet the multi-scenario applications such as medical rescue team deployments, medical assistance in remote areas, and the transportation of the injured and sick. Its delivery will provide new optionsfor improving China's air medical support system and enhancing emergency response capabilities.
