At 2:40 a.m. Beijing time on September 5, an Airbus A330-200F all-cargo aircraft operated by Hungary Airlines, loaded with approximately 59.7 tons of cargo, took off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and arrived in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, at 10:13 local time on September 5. This marks the official launch and successful inaugural flight of Hungary Airlines' "Zhengzhou-Budapest" Air Silk Road cargo route.
It is reported that the export cargo on this flight primarily consisted of cross-border e-commerce parcels, with major commodities including clothing, toys, accessories and so on. Operated by Hungary Airlines, the route is scheduled to operate 5 flights per week, using Airbus A330-200F wide-body all-cargo aircraft. To ensure the smooth inaugural flight of Hungary Airlines' "Zhengzhou-Budapest" cargo route, port joint inspection departments, Zhengzhou Airport and other units provided enterprises with 24/7 appointment-based customs clearance services, covering the whole-process "one-stop" support from declaration, inspection to release, which guaranteed zero delay and high efficiency in cargo customs clearance of the inaugural flight.
It is reported that Hungary Airlines, headquartered in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is committed to providing efficient and safe global transportation solutions. It is the first airline in Eastern Europe focusing on wide-body cargo aircraft operation services. The company obtained its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) qualification in November 2024 and launched the Hong Kong-Budapest cargo route in February 2025. The successful inaugural flight of this "Zhengzhou-Budapest" cargo route by Hungary Airlines has realized the two-way direct flight of wide-body all-cargo aircraft between China and Hungary along this critical economic and trade corridor, further strengthening Zhengzhou's position as an important strategic hub of the "Air Silk Road" and injecting strong momentum into China-Hungary bilateral relations entering the "golden airway".
