Zhengzhou airport's summer travel rush concluded on August 31. Over the past two months, the airport achieved record numbers not only in flights handled, but also in passengers transported. During the period, Zhengzhou airport managed approximately 42 thousand flights with a peak of 710 in a single day, serving 5.6 million passengers, including nearly 10 thousand unaccompanied minors, serving as a convenient "air bridge" during the summer holiday.
Data from online travel agency Trip.com showed that searches for Zhengzhou airport's international flights and for tickets during China's National Day holiday were up more than 40 percent.
During the travel rush, Zhengzhou airport enhanced passenger experience through service upgrades and expanded flight routes.
