At 11:00 AM on April 28, in the southeast of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ), within the Zhengzhou BYD Park, a black-and-white four-car train slowly departed from the station, marking the official launch of Henan's first park-based sky shuttle line.
The Zhengzhou BYD Park sky shuttle line stretches 7.69 kilometers, with 12 stations along its main route. It covers key areas within the park, including office buildings, factories, dormitories, and cafeterias. Initially, the service will run during morning and evening peak hours.
Since its launch at ZAEZ in 2023, Zhengzhou BYD has become the largest vehicle manufacturing base for BYD in terms of contiguous area. It is capable of manufacturing core components across the entire industry chain. Currently, it can roll off a new energy vehicle in less than 1 minute and produce a power battery cell in just 30 seconds.
