Jovita Wong Yan Ting, a Malaysian girl, is fascinated by the unique charm of Chinese characters. She believes that each character carries its own cultural connotations and life wisdom.
Among all the Chinese characters, her favorite is "人" (person). She believes that although this character is simple, it holds profound wisdom.
She explained that the character "人" looks like a person standing on the earth, symbolizing that we should stay grounded and humble.
For her, the character "人" constantly reminds her to maintain a grounded attitude when facing difficulties, while continuing to pursue her dreams.
Furthermore, she also likes the character "中" (zhong) in the word "中国" (China). She expressed how happy she is to have come to China, and to study in the Central China's Henan province.
"中" is also in the word "中庸" (zhong yong), which represents the wisdom of moderation - neither too much nor too little. Jovita Wong Yan Ting explains that Chinese culture emphasizes maintaining balance and harmony in both relationships and life, always striving for the right measure.
