Henan's postal industry processed 7.107 billion parcels in the first three quarters of this year, generating a revenue of 52.99 billion yuan, which represents year-on-year increases of 31.68% and 15.05%, respectively, according to the Postal Administration of Henan Province on October 24. This growth rate ranks Henan second nationwide in parcel volume. Specifically, express delivery services handled 6.296 billion parcels and generated a revenue of 38.072 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year growth rates of 37.39% and 22.76% respectively. Data showed that intra-city express delivery volume rose by 37.29% year-on-year during the period, while intercity express delivery volume surged by 37.54%, contributing over 90% to the overall growth in express delivery volume. All 16 prefecture-level cities saw double-digit growth in express delivery volume, with 12 cities surpassing the provincial average. Notably, Xinyang and Zhoukou led the way with growth rates of 73.48% and 70.56% respectively.
