On October 16, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (ZAEZ) Administrative Committee, in collaboration with Henan Foreign Investment Enterprises Association, hosted the "Tour of Henan's Foreign Businessmen in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone" at the International Conference Center of Garden Expo Park.
As a central hub in the Belt and Road Initiative and a strategic link on the New Eurasian Land Bridge, ZAEZ is dedicated to achieving high-quality development through reform. Focusing on the goals of "buying globally, selling globally", ZAEZ is continually enhancing its openness and expanding its logistics network to connect with markets around the world. ZAEZ's cross-border e-commerce sector is thriving, with partnerships being established with the Greater Bay Area in the health industry, marking a new chapter in biomedicine. Companies like Foxconn are also flourishing in ZAEZ, and construction is accelerating at the assembly center for China-Europe Railway Express.
Openness is the feature of ZAEZ and serves as the center theme of the "Tour of Henan's Foreign Businessmen in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone". Acting as a bridge between Chinese and foreign companies, Henan Foreign Investment Enterprises Association has 184 member foreign-invested enterprises, including Fortune Global 500 companies, China's Top 500 enterprises, and industry leaders. Representatives from companies such as Hongfujin Precision Electronics Company, Henan Shuanghui Investment & Development Company, Dennis Group, Charoen Pokphand Group and Zhengzhou Sanquan Foods Company gathered at the event to share opportunities, explore development strategies, and discuss future prospects.
Since the beginning of this year, the number of new foreign-invested enterprises in ZAEZ has witnessed a year-on-year increase of 362.5%. "ZAEZ boasts a prime geographical location and has implemented a series of preferential policies, which are key reasons why foreign-invested enterprises choose to establish a presence in Henan," said Pan Yong, Party Committee member, executive director, and deputy general manager of Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure Company.
A deep river attracts big fish, while a strong city nurtures successful merchants. A favorable business environment is crucial for the development of enterprises. ZAEZ places a strong emphasis on supporting foreign-invested enterprises. From the establishment of industrial parks and the optimization of industrial chains to the construction of international service systems, ZAEZ has implemented a series of innovative measures to advance comprehensive reforms of the business environment. A total of 108 major reform measures have been implemented at ZAEZ to create a first-class, market-oriented, law-based, and international business environment.
