On the morning of July 29, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (Henan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital), together with the team of Prof. Shi Li from the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University (TsLin Artificial Intelligence Laboratory), held a grand launch event at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, officially launching GTDoctor, the LLM of gestational trophoblastic disease and GTDiagnosis, an intelligent diagnosis support system. GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis, the intelligent assisted diagnosis systems, marked a landmark step in the cooperation between gynecological pathology diagnosis and artificial intelligence in China.

During the conference, both parties announced the successful implementation of this groundbreaking collaborative project. The GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis systems, powered by advanced LLMtechnology, aim to significantly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of gynecological pathology diagnoses, particularly for gestational trophoblastic disease, bringing unprecedented innovation to clinical medicine.
Prior to the launch, an expert panel led by Chang Junbiao, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis. The expert panel unanimously agreed that the system has reached the domestic leading and international advanced level in terms of technological innovation, practicability and clinical application potential, which provides strong support for the accurate diagnosis of gestational trophoblastic diseases, and has recommended to accelerate its popularization and application.
Prof. Shi Liprovided an in-depth introduction to the development background and technical highlights of GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis at the conference. She revealed that the team had successfully constructed a database of over ten thousand typical pathological slides, supported by precise annotations from professional pathologists, laying a solid data foundation for GTDoctor.
Zeng Xianxu, director of the Pathology Department at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, stated that GTDoctor hadalready shown promising results in clinical applications, and its high accuracy and specificity hadbeen fully verified. She emphasized that the team would continue to optimize the algorithms, collect more data, and further improve GTDoctor's generalization capability and diagnostic precision.
Wang Xinjun, President of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, introduced the development vision and scientific research layout of the hospital in his speech, stating that this collaboration would serve as anopportunity for further innovation in the hospital's scientific research efforts.
Zhang Li, Deputy Director of the Science and Education Department of the Provincial Health Commission, highly commended the significance of this collaboration, believing that this innovative achievement wouldstrongly promote the development of medical technology innovation in the province.
Liu Chuntai, Vice President of Zhengzhou University, highlighted the importance of the GTDoctor project in enhancing the university's research capabilities and fostering regional technological innovation from the perspective of academic research and thecommercializationof scientific and technological achievements.
Additionally, representatives from multiple institutions, including Zhengzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Luoyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, signed framework collaboration agreements with TsLin Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, marking the beginning of broader clinical testing and promotion of GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis.
"The launch is another example of the deep integration of medicine and artificial intelligence, and a vivid reflection of the relentless pursuit of the cause of human health."said Wang Xinjun. Looking ahead, The Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University and Professor Shi Li's team from Tsinghua University’s Department of Automation will continue to deepen their collaboration, constantly upgrading the GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis systems, contributing to the development of maternal and child specialty medical care.
