Regular cargo flights from Zhengzhou to Atlanta/Dallas launched

Early on the morning of May 13, a B747 all-cargo plane operated by Kalitta Air departed from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport for Atlanta, a major city in the eastern United States. This marked the successful launch of a regular international air freight route from Zhengzhou to Atlanta/Dallas. The Zhengzhou-Atlanta/Dallas air freight route has further improved the air freight network of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and broadened Zhengzhou's reachas an international air freight hub.

The Zhengzhou-Atlanta/Dallas regular air freight route operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights departing from Zhengzhou to Atlanta are scheduled on Mondays and for Dallas on Thursdays and Saturdays, mainly transporting cross-border e-commerce cargo. With the addition of this route, the number of international cargo flights from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport to North America has increased to16 per week, including the existing all-cargo routes to Chicago and Mexico City.

Since January, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport has rapidly bolstered its position as a global air cargo hub, actively expanding its international aviation logistics network. Over 10 cargo routes from Zhengzhou to key destinations such as Frankfurt, Chicago and Mexico City have been inaugurated or increased. The significance of the "Air Silk Road" has consequently grown. As of May 10, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport has handled a total cargo throughput of 228,000 tons this year, marking an 18.6 percent increase year on year.
