210 Luxembourg cultural relics arrive in Henan for exhibition, including Roman Gaul armets

A total of 210 pieces (sets) of cultural relics from Luxembourg have arrived at Henan Museum and are being prepared for exhibition, said a source from Henan Museum on March 19, 2024. It will be the first time that Luxembourg cultural relics exhibited in Henan.

Known as a land of castles, Luxembourg is rich in historical and cultural heritages, especially ancient castles. In 2018, 145 pieces (sets) of cultural relics unearthed in Henan made their first appearance in Luxembourg. This time, Luxembourgcultural relics, including Roman Gaul armets, human face-designcontainers,and gold coins of Roman Emperor Domitian, will be exhibited atHenan Museum at the end of March, 2024.

The "LuxembourgCultural Relics Exhibition" at Henan Museum will display more than 200 treasures from the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg. "Each treasurehas its own story, detailing not only the changes with historical significance, but also the cultural and economic development of Luxembourg," said the source.
