The agricultural product processing industry is one of the two "1-trillion-yuan ($138.9 billion) industries" in Henan.
The efforts in constructing the Central Plain Agricultural Valley are paying off
A total of 53 national/provincial-level R&D and innovation platforms, along with 74 seed enterprises, have been settled in the Central Plain Agricultural Valley.
The contribution rate of agricultural sci-tech progress has reached 64.9 percent.
Henan has had 12 agricultural varieties and 6 technologies selected as the nation's dominant agricultural varieties and primarily recommended technologies, making it the province with the highest number of selected varieties.
