The foreign trade value of Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached 407.278 billion yuan in 2023, accounting for 73.75 percent and 50.23 percent of Zhengzhou's and Henan's total respectively, jumping to the 1st place among all the comprehensive bonded zones across China again since 2017.

Covering an area of 5.073 square kilometers, Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone is one of the 13 comprehensive bonded zones approved by the State Council in China, the only one in Central China. Approved on October 24, 2010, it was officially put into service on November 4, 2011. With the support from Zhengzhou Customs, Xinzheng Customs, Port Office of the People's Government of Henan Province and other departments, the foreign trade value of Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone always ranked among the top two nationwide from 2012 to 2022. Since 2023, despite the complex international trade, Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone saw its foreign trade value stand at 407.278 billion yuan in 2023, surpassing Chengdu Hi-Tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone by 266 million yuan, topping other comprehensive bonded zones across China.

In recent years, Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone has established itself as a leading force among all the comprehensive bonded zones across China, whose performance evaluation maintained A for four consecutive years, and 3rd in China and 1st in Central China for three consecutive years. Over the past decade, Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone realized fast development through innovation. With an area of only 5 square kilometers, it has promoted the rapid growth of foreign trade of Henan which covers an area of 167 thousand square kilometers.
