Bolong, a stockbreeding machine company in Hebi city of Central China's Henan province, has made many new breakthroughs in foreign trade since January this year, not only made a "new friend" in Malaysia by reaching a strategic cooperation with a local equipment installation enterprise, but also decided to set up an office in Malaysia to vigorously explore the Southeast Asian market. With the growing expansion of RCEP services, an increasing number of foreign trade enterprises in Henan have seized the opportunity to actively expand their overseas business.
In the first three quarters, Zhengzhou Customs issued 4,419 certificates of originfor 1.71-billion-yuan export cargo, the number of which increased by 16 percent year-on-year, said local authority on October 26. Besides, the number of applicants reached 326, up by 7 percent year-on-year. Apart from the export cargo, 68.279 million yuan of import cargo was benefited from the RCEP agreement. Through favorable policies, 1.144 million yuan of tax reduction was achieved.
"Both the number of certificates of origin and the number of export enterprises have risen, reflecting the increased engagement of Henan's foreign trade enterprises, and the strengthened endogenous driving force of foreign trade exchanges between Henan andtheRCEP members." According to Zhengzhou Customs, with the continuous release of policy dividends, the driving force of RCEP for Henan's foreign trade will become more powerful.
