An international freight train loaded with more than 800 tons of barley and other agricultural products arrived at the International Land Port Railway Freight Station in Xinxiang city of Central China's Henan province from Almaty, Kazakhstan after 12 days' traveling. Worth 1.643 million dollars, the agricultural products will be distributed to various grain production and processing enterprises across the province in the coming days.
From January to September this year, 71 China-Europe freight trains (Zhongyu·Xinxiang) and 103 rail-sea intermodal trains have been operated, an increase of 126.8 percent and 153.5 percent year-on-year respectively. Besides, Xinxiang has welcomed 37 new return trains so far. All hit a record high.
