Loaded with Chinese motorbikes worth about 3.50 million yuan, the first rail-sea intermodal train from Luoyang city of Central China's Henan province to Casablanca (the largest city in Morocco) was successfully launched at Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port, said a source from YTO (Luoyang) Logistics Co Ltd on November 26. After its arrival at Qingdao Port, the cargo will be loaded on a containership and will take 45 days to reach the destination. The new rail-sea freight route has become a new passage for Luoyang to embrace the world.

In the first three quarters, Dongfanghong (Luoyang) International Land Port has completed a container throughput of 17,716 TEUs, reporting a year-on-year growth of over 40 percent.
