China's Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway (Puyang-Zhengzhou section), Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway and Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station commenced operations on June 20, marking the completion of the construction of a star-shaped high-speed railway network with Zhengzhou at its core in Henan. So far, all the 17 prefecture-level cities in Henan have been covered by China's high-speed railway network.

Since 2016, the beginning of China's 13th Five-Year Plan, Henan has built 1,420 kilometers of new railways.
