Around 8 am on January 4, 2022, Xinyang Port and Huaibin Central Port Area in Xinyang city of Henan province were officially put into operation. Fully loaded with Henan-made products, 11 cargo ships set sail from Xinyang Port for Huaian Port in Jiangsu province and Zhapu Port in Zhejiang province, where these commodities will be shipped to Europe and America.
It indicates that the official launch of Henan's largest comprehensive port and comprehensive logistics park integrating bulk cargo, general cargo and container berths.
The three sea routes linking Huaibin Central Port Area with Lianyungang Port, Huaian Port and Zhapu Port add new channels for Henan-made products going global, which make connected the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Huaihe River Ecological Economic Belt and the Bohai Economic Circle.
