The design of the Yellow River National Museum has been decided, according to Zhengzhou Cultural Relics Bureau on April 6.

Located at North Zhengzhou, the museum plans to cover an area of 135 mu (1 mu equals to 0.067 hectares) with a total gross floor area of 100 thousand square meters and an investment of about 1.93 billion yuan.

Focusing on the long-standing historical and cultural connotations and ecological evolution of the Yellow River basin, the museum takes the winding waterfront landscape as the prototype to build a bridge symbolizing the integration of natural environment and modern civilization from urban design and space creation.
