According to the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, foreign experts are not allowed to carry the following objects when they enter the P. R. China:
(1) All kinds of weapons, replica weapons, ammunition or explosives;
(2) Forged bank notes or securities;
(3) Publications, films, photographs, records, video disks, tapes, video tapes, laser video discs, computer storage mediums, and other products that contain material that is harmful to China politically, economically, culturally and morally;
(4) All kinds of acrid poison;
(5) Opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana, and other kinds of addictive narcotic drugs or psychoactive drugs;
(6) Animals, plants - and biological products made from animals and plants - that contain dangerous viruses, insects or other species of creatures;
(7) Food, medicine and other items which are harmful to human beings and animals, or which are brought from epidemic areas of infectious disease.
