Fei Quanfa, second-level inspector of the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, remarked that Henan's import and export value expanded 20 percent to more than 800 billion yuan in 2021. Besides, in the first half of 2022, Henan's foreign trade value totaled 395.83 billion yuan, up 7.9 percent from a year earlier. It is worth noting that Henan's trade with countries (or regions) along the Belt and Road reported a year-on-year growth of 28 percent while with the ASEAN countries 32 percent.
